Whitby Wildlife Sanctuary Images by Ceri Oakes Photography
Alex Farmer at Whitby Wildlife Sanctuary is fundraising to build a wildlife hospital. Alex began taking in sick and injured animals and birds a few years ago, and it quickly became a full time role, with hundreds of rescues coming in a year. Alex works tirelessly and has achieved registered charity status for the sanctuary in the last year.
Alex takes on all kind of wildlife, she currently has a three-legged fox, baby rabbits, a blind owl, a pig and many other animals. Most of which will be rehabilitated and released back into the wild.
Alex also works to educate people on caring for our wildlife here in Britain and part of the hospital will become an education centre. You can read more about the project and donate here: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/wwswildlifehospital
If you wish to purchase any prints of the animals featured below, which are all residents at the sanctuary, profits will be donated to the cause.
