Keeping it brief today, before an exciting day for the Yorkshire coast tomorrow as it hosts Stage One of Tour de Yorkshire. The cyclists, including Bradley Wiggins, start in Bridlington taking a 174km route through the Dalby Forest and North York Moors to Scarborough. Here are some photos I took in the lead up to the event, I will be updating this post with my coverage from the area tomorrow. Hoping to see lots of Yorkshire folk out waving flags and cheering on the cyclists as we get a fleeting glance of them zooming past our vantage points…
UPDATED: Seen some brilliant photos online today (Friday 1 May) from around the region. An unusual event to photograph as you have to pick your spot and stick to it, waiting most of the day for a fleeting photo opportunity, showing a minute of a five hour race.
