This shoot was literally my dream photoshoot! Who doesn’t love a good wedding, the seaside and a working alongside other local businesses in the industry? Ok so it wasn’t a real wedding. The shoot was a collaboration between myself and some other local wedding industry creatives. We decided to team up to showcase our latest work.
Sophie Longhurst provides wedding hire and styling as Ginger and Flynn. She amazes me with the way she pulls together an idea and makes everything look effortlessly beautiful. Taking inspiration from the coast and countryside on our doorstep she transformed what is already a stunning venue into a bohemian beach wedding paradise.
The venue, Bridge Cottage Bistro in Sandsend, run by Alex Perkins, is a successful restaurant nestled between the woods and the sea in the picturesque village just up the coast from Whitby. If the location wasn’t enough, Alex cooks locally sourced and inspired meals on a menu that changes daily. They are hosting their first wedding this summer, and I can’t think of anywhere more dreamy to get married.
Michelle McHugh Budd provided her unique hand crafted flower crowns made from beautiful silk flowers. She also did our model, Beth’s make up, complementing the day with a soft dewy finish and natural tones.
Thank you to models Beth and Greg who were happy to get wet and sandy for us!
